Blurb About the Blog
15Some bloggers are unpublished or undiscovered. I am neither. Rather, I am an unwritten author. I have six novels – all written through page two, only. My fear of failure holds the words captive at the wrist with an unobtainable, sprawling view of the pen and paper ahead. When I am not busy jailing words, I am a full-time lawyer and a full-time mom of two beautiful, healthy vilde chayas.*
Motherhood and the significant losses that followed in close succession has humbled me and taught me more than I could have ever expected to learn in one lifetime. And yet, like my novels, I am an eternal work in progress. I share my thoughts on love, loss and parenting on my blog. After all, the words are entitled to one hour of exercise daily. Welcome to the jail yard.
*Yiddish for “wild things” (Literally: “wild lives”) and lovingly applicable to my children.
I think your blog looks great. I am immediately drawn your little girl image. She looks so strong and at the same time I want to champion for her.
So happy to meet you, even if you are lactose intolerant. There’s always jelly beans. 🙂

I got curious after the brief comment chit-chat. It’s the first time It truly step into your little corner of the blogosphere, despite having crossed paths with you occasionally on the Yeahwrite grids. Gotta say I kinda like it. Look forwards to spending some time here…

For some reason the smiley I put at the end of the above comment didn’t show up, so here it is: 😄

Thanks for stopping by my blog-it gave me the opportunity to visit yours. Love what you’ve done with the place! Good luck with letting those word prisoners out for their daily exercise. Mine are lucky if they get a weekly outing.

I’m glad you stopped by for a visit. By the way, my clock runs slow (or that’s what I tell myself) so “daily” really ends up being “weekly” in my mind.

There’s no denying you’re a writer. Your choice of imprisoned words are intriguing. It has been said, of writers, “we are our own worst critics.” I’m glad you’re not afraid to share here.

Thank you for visiting my blog, Melanie. Someone once told me, when I was quite young, “It is better to think you may have been a success than to know you are a failure!” If I had followed that, I may never have done anything. 🙂 Carpe diem 😉
